According to Buzzfeed, Kelly splits his time between his home in Trump Tower in Chicago and his suburban house in Atlanta. They claimed that R. Kelly had six women in places in Chicago and Atlanta and controls everything about them, right down to when they can eat, sleep, or use the bathroom. It is alleged that he controls "every aspect of their lives" including how they engage in sexual encounters that he records.
Nonetheless, it appears R. Kelly's alleged behavior does not necessarily violate the law: police in IL and Georgia have performed welfare checks in the past year without incident, and in January one of the women told Cook County law enforcement that she was "fine and did not want to be bothered".
J's daughter was allegedly then invited to another of his concerts later that month and despite being aware of claims of sexual misconduct made against him previously, J said she felt safe as she was always present when they met. In order to reconnect with her daughter and learn more about the parameters of her relationship with Kelly, the mother has closed down her business and conducted her own investigation, sharing the information with FBI in both IL and Georgia.
Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee provided their stories for a BuzzFeed News report, saying that R. Kelly (first name Robert) exerted control over their lives, including their diets, sleeping habits, sexual activities, and personal hygiene.
"R. Kelly is the sweetest person you will ever want to meet", McGee said. When the Georgia woman arrived at the club, T.S. said, Kelly "bent her over and he whupped her behind because she laughed at the cab driver, who happened to be a man".
R. Kelly is reportedly holding the women at his homes in Atlanta and Chicago, makes them call him "daddy", films sexual encounters with them, forbids them from contacting their families, and abuses them, all according to the article.
Whining Over Winnie? Chinese Censors Scrub Pooh Memes
Articles about the censorship circulated on Wechat, mentioning rumours that Winnie-the-Pooh programmes were also set to be banned. A similar comparison was made with Xi as Pooh and Japan's prime minister Shinzo Abe as Eeyore, the sad donkey.
As BuzzFeed reports, welfare checks have been performed in IL and Georgia in the past year, but no charges have been made. The women are not technically missing in the eyes of the law, with all six accounted for and seemingly consenting to the alleged situation.
Additionally, Kelly confiscates the women's cell phones so they can't reach out to friends or family.
One woman, who was once in Kelly's entourage confirmed the report. She recently parted ways with Kelly, these sources say. "[She] looked like a prisoner - it was awful", J. said about the last time she saw her daughter. In 2008, he was acquitted of all charges in a child pornography case, after he had been accused of making a sex tape with an under-age girl. [She] looked like a prisoner-it was disgusting.
A 25-year-old woman who also has been part of Kelly's scene for seven years.

R. Kelly's lawyer released a statement to BuzzFeed in response to the claims. Mack, Jones, and McGee also provided details on who was living with Kelly last summer. "I suppose that is the price of fame". Nine years later, people will take a long look at R. Kelly's personal life once again.
