Crozier is widely considered to have turned around ITV's fortunes since replacing Michael Grade as CEO in 2010, although the firm has been hit by concerns over advertising revenues after the UK's decision to leave the European Union.

EasyJet said it has already began the search for her successor.
She will earn £900,000 a year and a pension allowance of 15 percent of her salary, and be eligible for annual bonuses up to a maximum of 180 percent of her earnings, as well as a long-term incentive plan up of to 265 percent of her salary.

She has overseen a trebling in the share price, an increase in passenger numbers and the payment of about 1.2 billion pounds in dividends to shareholders. Carolyn has also held non-executive director roles with Lloyds TSB (2008 - 2009), Tesco (2005 - 2008) and New Look (1999 - 2005).
While the broadcaster has seen its audience share slip like the other major United Kingdom networks, Crozier has focused on building out global production and distribution revenues.
