In this regard the Congress convened its legislature party meeting at Leader of Opposition Indira Hridayesh's house on Sunday while the Bharatiya Janata Party had convened its meeting at State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat's residence. "We have not come to influence the voting, but to see how many MLAs were coming to cast their votes", said Das.
Till now the State Congress Party has not filed any petition for suspension of the congress MLAs under the tenth scheduled of the Indian constitution, neither the state assembly recognised them as the BJP MLAs. While MLC Boseraju was posted as representative of Meira Kumar, Whip of the opposition and BJP MLA V Sunil Kumar was the representative of Ram Nath Kovind.
